June News: What I’m Writing

Happy June!

This month, I’d thought I’d share with you a bit about what I’m writing. There’s no official title yet but I’m working on Cade Cavendish’s book which I pitched to my editor as, “The Scarlet Pimpernel meets Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, in which a French lady’s maid and a spy who is a master of disguise foil a plot to bring Napoleon back from St. Helena while uncovering secrets about each other and falling in love.” What do you think? I’m having the *best* time writing it! It’ll be out Spring 2017!

What (Else) I’m Up To…

I just finished editing The Legendary Lord which is Lord Christian Berkeley’s story and comes out November 1, 2016. I’m happy to announce that I’ll be sharing chapter one on my website very soon!

Have a fantastic June (my birthday month!) and thank you for reading my latest news!

Love your Playful Brides series and looking forward to the story of Viscount Berkeley. Please post pictures of your character’s inspiration as it gives your readers more insight on the characters in your books. Thanks.

    Hi Billie,
I actually have this on my Pinterest page for many of the Playful Brides characters. You can see it at https://www.pinterest.com/valeriegbowman/playfulbrides/

    Thanks!

I love that you have pictures of celebrities to match your Playful Bride characters on Pinterest! I went through each one, and understood the resemblance to how you described the characters in the novels. What about Owen and Alexandra? Berkeley? I’m looking forward to seeing more updates. 🙂

        Hi Caitlin,
I haven’t found my perfect Berkeley yet, but I’ll definitely update it when I do (Alex and Owen, too).
