Valerie has a B.A. in English Language and Literature with a minor in British History from Smith College and has been writing and editing professionally for over 10 years as a technical writer and editor at a computer software company. She is a PRO member of RWA, and a member of The Beau Monde and Hearts Through History special interest chapters.
Originally from Rantoul, Illinois, Valerie lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband and two dogs. When she's not writing, she keeps busy as a professional TiVo user, an avid traveler, or NOT cooking.
