Valerie has a B.A. in English Language and Literature with a minor in British History from Smith College and has been writing and editing professionally for over 10 years as a technical writer and editor at a computer software company. She is a PRO member of RWA, and a member of The Beau Monde special interest chapter.
Originally from Rantoul, Illinois, Valerie lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with her dog. When she's not writing, she keeps busy as a professional TiVo user, an avid traveler, or NOT cooking.
